Today’s deal is a fantastic opportunity for children and young teens (ages 5 to 14) to attend The Acting Loft’s two-week Summer Musical Camp - Session #3 for only $175, half off the usual $350 price. An afternoon snack and all camp materials are included as well! And at close to only $17 per eight-hour day of camp, this remarkable bargain for these space-limited classes is sure to be bought up quickly.
The Acting Loft Summer Musical Theatre camp offers a chance for campers to learn the basics of musical theatre performance in a safe, supportive and non-competitive environment. Camp participants will spend their mornings in acting, singing and dancing classes, while their afternoons are spent in master classes and rehearsing for their final performance project a musical revue that will showcase all of the performance education the participants have acquired during their two-week involvement.
This session’s performance project comes from the enormously popular TV show Glee! In this original production, the story revolves around glee clubs from around the country coming together to compete for one ultimate showdown! Playing Finn, Quin, Puck, Mercedes, Kurt and others while using music directly off today’s pop charts, campers will have a fantastic time acting out a great story, learning show choir choreography and inhabiting a world in which singing and dancing are the kings and queens of the prom.
With instruction provided by The Acting Loft’s highly trained and experienced staff, your child or teen is going to have fun and will also learn some real skills – such as teamwork and planning – that will not only be useful in the world of theater, but also in the world at large. Shakespeare was right!
