They were all invented accidentally! All of these things have brought a little bit of joy and happiness into our daily lives and, in some cases, saved them. These accidental discoveries have been literally and figuratively good for our hearts.
Today’s deal involves another wonderful accidental discovery.
In the mid 1990s, a man named Alberto “Beto” Perez was teaching an aerobics class in Cali, Columbia. One day he found himself in a tough spot – he’d forgotten his class music tapes. After scrambling through his backpack, he found a few salsa and merengue tapes and decided to improvise a new type of dance exercise class on the spot. In that moment, what is now known as the worldwide Zumba ® exercise craze was born!
