Half-Day 2016 Summer Theatre Camp Programs for Ages 5-7The Majestic Academy of Dramatic Arts provides a year–long season of performing opportunities as well as revitalized and enhanced educational programs for ages 4–19. The Academy is designed to expand the knowledge and love of theatre arts by all involved. Now, the Academy of Dramatic Arts has through an exclusive arrangement with Couptopia, made available a limited number of half-day (MON-FRI 9 am - 1 pm) summer camp programs for 5 – 7 year olds.
Dinosaurs: July 11 – 16, 2016 (one week) - $99 (reg. $150)
Join us for a week long theme-based camp celebrating the fun adventures of Dinosaurs! We will learn songs and stories that will bring these prehistoric creatures to life! We will explore through music, movement, and active learning the dinosaur habitats and characteristics! This theme-based camp is perfect for the theatre newbie just as much as the returning camper as we explore, learn, and build the skills of music, theatre, and dance.
Simply Seuss: July 18 – 30, 2016 (two weeks) - $119 (reg. $200)
Come explore the delightful stories and songs of Dr. Seuss! All things Seuss will tackled in this movement and activity-based camp, learning the basic theatre skills of acting, singing, and dancing - all the while having an awesome time with the Dr. Seuss stories we’ve come to know and love. Perfect for the beginner as well as the "up and rising" star!
Additional Information
- Half-day camps run MON-FRI 9am - 1pm
- Camps are held at Majestic's downtown studio space: 922 Elm Street, Manchester
- A culminating showcase for family & friends is held on the final Saturday (location TBA)
- Camp supplies and a camp t-shirt are included in the cost
- Two tickets to the culminating performance are included; additional tickets can be purchased at the door only for $5
