Experience first-hand amazing and fun trucks!
Best Family Friendly Event 2011 - Readers of Parenting New Hampshire Magazine
Kids love trucks. Some observers call it “vehicle adoration” and have even found examples of truck-like toys dating back to the ancient Mayan civilization.
We’ve all seen children point with mouths agape at passing fire engines, police vehicles, cranes, and dump trucks and squeal with delight. The next step to nirvana is for them to actually touch one – and that’s where Couptopia, Noah’s Ark Child Care Center, and the Simon Youth Foundation come in.
Today’s promotion offers three package deal options for this year’s Touch-A-Truck event at the Mall of New Hampshire:
- $10 for 2 tickets and a goody bag ($40+ value)
- $15 for 3 tickets and a goody bag ($45+ value)
- $20 for 4 or more tickets and a goody bag ($50+ value)
The goody bags alone make this an incredible deal. Some of the items you’ll get in your bag include a $20 token card from Funspot, a flexpass from Chuckster’s, a coupon book from New Hampshire Fisher Cats, a coupon for The Fresh Beat Band tickets at Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion and more!
Not only can the kids touch their favorite truck, they can climb on, sit in and take photos with the vehicles, enjoy a bouncy house, face painting, meet Manchester Monarchs mascot Max, Milo the NHMS mascot, and take a ride on the Roaming Railroad. You can even take a free Zumbatonic class with one of New Hampshire’s top Zumba instructors, Marianela! – and all to help raise money to benefit Noah’s Ark Child Care Center and the Simon Youth Foundation. Over the past three years, this community event has attracted more than 4,000 attendees and raised more than $25,000.
This four-hour event includes a live performance by New Hampshire’s own Judy Pancoast, a singer, songwriter and recording artist who radiates joy in her music. She crafts clever songs with infectious melodies that delight the young and the young at heart. Her CD Weird Things Are Everywhere was nominated for a Grammy in 2011. The kids will love her and so will you!
Trucks scheduled to be at the event include a Ghostbusters-mobile replica, a troop carrier from the New Hampshire Air National Guard, a 142-foot crane from McGuinness Tree Service, a ladder truck from the Manchester Fire Department, construction vehicles, vehicles from NH State Police, Five Guys Burgers and Fries giant 4x4 monster truck, a Gentle Giant Moving Company van, a baseball-themed Murano from Merchants Automotive Group, and many more!
So circle June 9th on your calendar right now and make sure your camera is charged and ready to go when you show up at the Mall of New Hampshire Food Court Parking Lot with your young truck fans. And it’s okay if you get your picture taken on the fire engine too – you know you want to!
