We live about 20 minutes away and drive to Manchester specifically for La Carreta, and it is the first place we bring out of town guests and new residents to the area!” - TripAdvisor

New Hampshire residents love La Carreta for two main reasons - high quality, authentic Mexican cuisine and the most delicious margaritas in town.

Unlike the big chain restaurants that purport to serve Mexican food, La Carreta doesn’t just throw a few corn chips on a plate with canned salsa or put some spicy hamburger in a wrap and call it a taco. This food is the REAL DEAL (see menu). Just try the Chile Autentico – Poblano peppers stuffed with cheese and your choice of chicken, ground beef, or beef tips all covered with a mild green sauce and served with a side of rice and beans. Or perhaps enjoy the Pollo Ranchero – grilled marinated chicken covered with cheese, ranchero sauce, grilled onions and mushrooms and combined with rice, beans, and two flour tortillas. And of course no meal at La Carreta would be complete without one of their special house margaritas or sangria!
